Łukasz Zięba, a native of Kraków, Poland, former professional gymnast, graduated from Cracow Dance Academy in 2012. He was the winner of the Best Solo Award at the Dance World Cup in Villach, Austria in 2012 and shortly after moved to New York City to study at The Ailey School on a full scholarship.

Łukasz danced with The Metropolitan Opera and later in 2015 joined Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. He is currently based in New York working as a freelance artist, most recently with Company XIV, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Emery Lecrone Dance and LED Boise.

Łukasz has made several original works. Throughout his career as a performer he has also been expressing his creative talent in the field of choreography. He choreographed on Poland’s 'You Can Dance - Po Prostu Tańcz’ in 2015, as well as presented his creations at various festivals in USA, Hong Kong and Poland. In June 2018 Łukasz was part of Hong Kong International Choreography Festival where he created and performed his new work ‘human chromosome #2’. He is also a founder, creative artist and choreographer of ACE Dance Concept that exists between New York and Paris. 

Łukasz shares with students his passion for movement and choreography appearing as a guest faculty at Joffrey Ballet School, Man In Motion and Kraków Choreographic Centre among others.

As part of his consciousness training he is studying practices such as Yoga, meditation and breathwork. Łukasz studied sound healing with Don Conreaux, Aiden McIntyre, Kay Karl in Germany and Martha Collard in Hong Kong using Gongs and other instruments. Guided by the wisdom that comes from the sacred traditions of humanity, he hopes to bring more peace, harmony and self-understanding to everyone he meets on his path.
